What a great rescue....congrats to both Brandi and her human family. She looks like she'll be great fun to be with.

Jan 5, 2008 mkesj

Brandi is a sweet puppy and obviously has a wonderful home. It's great that she'll have another dog to play with. (A photo tip: The blue eyes can be eliminated with either a flash off the camera or a very bright room or simply taking her outside.) In any case Brandi is a lucky girl and you did pretty well yourselves.

Jan 5, 2008 Kristen Davis

What a very cute baby girl, I am sooo glad ya'll rescued her. I wish every puppy and dog could get adopted by good homes like Brandi did. A million biscuits and many many happy years for you with Brandi and your other dog.

Adorable. Please give her kisses for me. And Rescue Dogs are wonderful. I have my first rescue for a year now, he does not leave my side. He pays much better attention to me than my Babies I have had all their lives. Brandi is so lovely. Many, many years of happiness with her.

Jan 5, 2008 yoliesf

Se looks very SWEET! Enjoy her and thanks for rescuing her. I'm sure you made HER very happy!

Jan 5, 2008 Just Jim G

Sometimes, when an animal starts life in a less than best environment, they tend to retain a bit of melancholy around their eyes for a while. Such it is with sweet little Brandi but expect it to leave. Thank goodness, she has been rescued and now has a happy and loving home. Thank you for sharing her with us. She's heart-touching...

Jan 6, 2008 flutey48

11 T-Bone steaks to Brandi's mom for rescuing her! People that rescue animals are all heroes to me. Brandi is precious... love that tummy and curl at the end of her tail.

Jan 7, 2008 clemency

Brandi is such a cutie! I love this picture, she looks so alert! She looks so smart and attentive.

Jan 7, 2008 kathyd125

What a little sweetheart! And God bless you for taking her in from an animal shelter...I volunteer at one and the sadness of seeing all of our dogs in kennels is mitigated by families like you that come and take these little beauties home!

Jan 7, 2008 acmebiatch

Your baby is lovely. She reminds me a lot of my lab mix - Shelby - who I lost just a few weeks ago to cancer after ten lovely years. (black lab, GSD, & chow - her tongue was black with just a smattering of pink spots - tho she looked mostly black lab). Enjoy all of your precious time with your moxie mutts, they'll keep you young!
God Bless.

Jan 7, 2008 klweiss

Jan 9, 2008 LisaLisa

Jan 11, 2008 Curious

What kind of Lab Mix is Brandi?? We are trying to find the perfect puppy and I just think Brandi is so cute.

Jan 16, 2008 kirtly74

I LOVE THIS PUPPY! SO SO SO CUTE! LOVE YA! :)

Feb 9, 2008 2pups1kit

I don't seem to be able to show my fav pic, but it's the one w/th afghan. Brandi is verrrrryyyyy cute! She makes me think of what a cross between my GSD mix Indy & dearly departed but never forgotten black lab Sharah would have looked like. He is the same color as Brandi, but has more Shepherd-ish ears. Indy was a rescue too, but came into my life when he was about 1 yr old & crazy! He is 11 now & blind, but sweet as can be. Rescued pups somehow know & never forget, are always grateful & extra loving! Best wishes for a long healthy, happy life with your little girl!

Feb 26, 2008 DebbieT

We also have a lab mix named Brandy (spelled with a y though.) She's 13 years old now and we got her when she was about 5 weeks. She's been a really good dog all these years and I always tell people she helped me raise the kids. We bought Brandy at a pet shop, but she had been a pound puppy. My next dog will definitely be a rescue dog.

Mar 28, 2008 Multidogmommy08

First and foremost, It was hard to pick a favorite picture when they are all my favorite. I praise you for adopting from a animal shelter I wish more people would do that. I have a total of 7 dogs. I was given a dog (Yogibear) from my father in law who use to breed Mountain Feist. We have a neighbor that had a jack russell /pit bull mix. The couple decided to send Dotti to the pound, but before they could take her my husband & I decided to become her mommy & daddy. It was the best decision that we have ever made. She was expecting when she moved in with us (we did not know that she was expecting). We were blessed with 1 boy (white Sox) & 4 girls (Pokahonias Ciara=Poki for short, Fallon Lynn, Bootsie Mae & Maui Kiara). We had found a wonderful home for 3 of the dogs, but they did not get to come and get them until after 3 months and sad to say we were already mommy & daddy. That is how we ended up with 7 babies. I love each and everyone of them very much and would not want to change anything. They are all so very different in their on way also. I wish you many happy & healthy years with your babies. Please help get the word out to adopt.

Sincerely,
Renee
