Brutus' mom says: Brutus is very playful, likes to chew everything he sees and absolutely loves the squeaky toys. We take him to the beach every 2 weeks as he loves to play in the water. He thinks he can swim and would like to be a rescue dog one day ... not. We absolutely love him to bits and our house would not be the same without Brutus and we would still have couch in one piece.

He is Gorgeous!! Boxers have been my breed of choice since I got mine three years ago. They are so comical, loving, affectionate, and fun. Puppy stage can be real difficult but I promise once they hit the age of 2, you will have the best dog of your life!! We are getting us another one in March. CAN'T WAIT!!

OMG, What a handsome little man. I just love this breed, my best friend had a boxer, (LOUIE) and let me tell you, they are all a big ol ham. Louie was a Florida buy and he too loved the ocean. There is just something about boxers and water that I just don't understand, is it the water or the people? Enjoy Brutus, I truly hope for many years of love and happiness together.

Brutus is gorgeous!! I have two boxers - a brindle and a white. Do you live in the UK? - I noticed that Brutus has a tail and I know that docking was recently banned there. But tail or no, he is just one adorable puppy!

When I was an adolescent ... a l-o-o-o-ong time ago, my Uncle Jim had a boxer named "Butch". That family also had a crawly, just learning to stand baby girl. On a visit to their house, I was completely amazed to watch baby girl crawl over to Butch, reach up to grab a baby-fist sized piece of his hip and pull her little self up to stand using the boxer dog as her baby walker!! Not only did Butch brace himself to support the baby, he didn't even wince at the generous pinch it took for her to pull herself up!! I still remember being awestruck at the gentleness of that dog and the patience he exhibited. That was ................hmmmmmmm... maybe 1957-ish. I sincerely hope the breed is still so gentle and committed to their family. Best wishes on your precious little boy and your forever life together.

What a pretty baby you have! So happy to see you left tail and ears natural. I had a boxer when I was young and he was my best friend. So smart and loving. My one younger brother used to get on his back and ride him like a pony, using the dogs ears to hold on. Major would tolerate this and when he had had enough he would sit down, my brother couldn't hold on any longer and then Major would sit on him and hold him down. I still remember my brother calling Mommy, Majors sitting on me again! Such great memories you will have of this little one. As many biscuits as his little puppy tummy can handle.

Bumble, our boxer, was once that small. He outgrew his bed in about a week. Bumble is our first boxer. We've nickednamed him "Fun Bumble" cause he's ALWAYS ready for play -- night or day. The buttsie wiggles constantly and he talks to us -- we call it "Bumble Speak". It's just his happy tounge lashing. I know you will enjoy your bundle of boxer love. When he's laying across your lap -- relish in it even though he's gonna be a big boy!!

I grew up with a Boxer as a child; his name was Prince, a loyal, playful and loving dog. He won second place in a local dog show when I was a baby. :o)

PS- I am happy to see Brutus has not been "docked". Such was the custom with Prince back in 1951. I wish he could have "been himself", as is our buddy Brutus.

Oh how could you stay mad at such a cute face. I can, however, sympathize with the sofa thing. We used to have nice furniture once, before we got our dog. Still, we have throws on the sofa and a silly dog we love to bits.

WOW!! I am bowled over by this pup! He is just drop dead gorgeous!! I was never much of a boxer fan until fairly recently--I am now really appreciating their looks: very handsome & rugged at the same time. I didn't even realize that his tail was natural til I read the other posts!! Natural ears are becoming much more common these days (thank God), but breeders still seem to want to lop tails off---I absolutely cringe when I think of that...how ANYONE could EVER do that to infant puppies is beyond me!! I think it has to do with the standard for showing---I could NEVER get a puppy that had been cosmetically altered!!! Now, adopting is another story---in that case, it's already a done deal. My neighbor has a beautiful, sweet HUGE boxer boy named Noah--he is magnificent, & only about 1.5yrs old! Have a great time with Brutus---many happy healthy years & billions of biscuits!
