Francie's mom says: We live in Glenview, IL with Francie's brother Oscar and his Daddy, Bruce.Oscar is 4 1/2 and is also a Cotton. Francie has made life a bit more interesting. She is NOT laid back like her brother. She looks like an angel but acts like a devil. Oscar is trying to adjust to a life of constant activity rather than just sleeping and being a couch potato. Bruce and I spend a great deal of time watching them play. She is a great addition to our home and I highly recommend having 2 fur kids. Life is a lot more interesting!
I have 2 white cotton balls, and life is VERY INTERESTING
with them. I highly recommend having 2 puppies. When we take our Maltese walking they look like 2 little wind-up toys . LOL.....
I love this puppy! I've never heard of this breed before. I had to check this breed out on the internet. Hair instead of fur. They sound like a wonderful breed of dog. This is one that I'll remember. Thank you for sharing with us! 11 biscuits for Francie AND Oscar.
Well, I keep getting thrown off the page every time I choose my favourite picture, which is that second one off the bottom. Head on one side, "but I am so cute, why you tek so long to tek mah peekture, hmm?" kind of thing!
I'd never heard of the breed either, but I think I might have to have one one day, so pretty! Enjoy your new girl.
2 cute! Wonderful pictures...they're all my favorites! Enjoy these sweet kids! Smooches to Francie & Oscar!
lOVE THE FUR! nEVER HEARD OF THIS BREED EITHER, BUT THE TWO OF THEM ARE A RIOT. i JUST LOVE THE FUR AROUND THE HEAD. REMINDS ME OF "WIG HATS" WE GOT YEARS AGO(BOY. TALK ABOUT DATING MYSELF!) eNJOY THEM BOTH!
Bucky and Bailey's Mom
Lucky you! Cotons are my new favorite breed. I have a 2 1/2 year old male picked out at a nearby breeder. I just have to convince my husband of the merits of a second dog to be a pal for our 18-month old English Cocker little girl. ;-)
Francie is absolutely adorable and so is her big brother!
I love to hear and see of breeds that are new to me. How breathtakingly beautiful are your two furbabies! Thanks for sharing them with us.
There's just something about a white, fluffy little puppy! Too cute to stand. My mom has a Maltese and they look exactly alike. Francis is a precious little baby girl!
You cannot convince me that a puppy this cute EVER does anything wrong (:-))! What a gorgeous little girldog. Her big brother is very handsome as well. Enjoy the two of them. Kisses and extra biscuits from me.
Francie you are a real cutie and a happy girl!! This is a new breed for me also. Looks a lot like my Bella Boo (she is a maltipoo). Lots of scritches, treats and cuddles!!
If you look the word "mischief" up in the dictionary, I believe this is the picture you will see.
From Ontario, Canada.
You are absolutely right. Two are much, much better than one!! They are both little sweethearts. God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness for years to come. You will need your energy to be up for this....
I am another one that had never heard of this breed. Didn't know what I was missing. What a beautiful baby. Love this pic, like the mischief wheels are going around in the head and eyes half open like, is she watching now? Can I get away with it. She is sooo cute, bet she can get away with anything. Many happy, healthy years together.
I have never seen anything sooo cute. She is so perfect, she does not look real. Wow, are you lucky to have 2 of these. Their fur looks like silk but I bet you groom every day. Best wishes for many happy playful years together.
Just had to look up this breed. According to your write up Francie certainly lives up to her breed. I expected too see a little bigger breed, but they are quite small. Many happy years with this beautiful girl and her big brother Oscar. Hugs, kisses and 11 biscuits to each from Kansas USA.
Adorable. Having 2 (or more!) canine companions really does make life more interesting and fun. Have lots of happiness with Francie and Oscar who deserve the biscuit max of course.
Very Best Wishes from Spain.
So cute! Cotons, Maltese, Havenese, and Bichons all from the same 'family', very similar in looks, sweet in disposition, all just so lovable!! A long happy life for all of you!
Francie is smiling here.....seriously!:) I have not heard of this breed but they are both so cute!!! So cute!!! :) Very cute picutres!!!
Thank you for introducing me to this darling breed - Francie looks like she enjoys "sitting pretty" and having her picture taken - what a sweetheart !!! I hope Francie and Oscar have warm sweaters to wear this winter - sooooooo chilly brrrr in Illinois right now !!!
First time on site, I just love it, I have always loved coton dogs, your's are just adorable and I hear they don't shed?? What cuties!!
A new breed for me too. They originated in Madagascar? Such an adorable face. Thanks for teaching me a new doggie fact for the day.
Francie you are too cute! I hope you and your family have many happy and healthy years together! I agree with your mom about having furry children. I have a five year old Lab/chow mix and two seven year old kitties. My little girl, the lab is my baby and my kitties are the big brothers.
Little sisters can be pests at times. Francie doesn't look like she could do anything too naughty. How lovely to have a pair of pooches to watch play!
Interesting tail....I will be looking up Coton de Tulear when I leave here....I'd like to see an adult. Oscar and Francie are precious!
Nothing this fluffy and cute could ever act like a devil! It's just not possible!!! Seriously, Francie and Oscar (great names, btw!) are both so adorable!
Wow I'm stunned with the cuteness! Both your pups are WICKED CUTE! You're so lucky to have 2, I'll bet Oscar's lovin' it. 2 dogs are
always best- gives them a best friend for life. Thanks for introducing this new breed to us, Francie and Oscar's adoring public!
I never heard of this breed either and after reading about them was surprised to learn that they aren't related to the Lhasa family. Oscar especially looks sooooo much like one of mine that I had years ago.
Francie is an absolute doll and Oscar is quite the handsome guy. How lucky you are to have two of them - I have always believed that a dog should have another dog for companionship.
I haven't seen such a great collection of pics in a long time - they are all wonderful.
Wishes for a long and happy and healthy lifetime for these 2 beauties. Enjoy!!!
I haven't had such a good laugh in weeks!!! What a great way to start *Monday*...ick! But seeing these two happy, comical faces just cracked me up! How precious they are!
Love your pup! I am a relative newbie to the Coton de Tulear breed. I saw one at the groomers last year and have worked hard to find out more about it. I understand that many dogs are sold as Coton de Tulear that are really not.

This is a new breed to me but they are too cute to forget! Your babies are PRECIOUS! Little balls of fluff and love!
;)
Francie , you are bundle of cottony white joy. Makes me want to Squeeze the Charmin (ha ha)
By the way, I grew up in Highland Park, Il, not far from you!!
I was SO excited to see the Coton today! We don't get to see others very often. These are exceptional dogs. Supersweet and supersilly. Our 11/2 year old male Waldo is partner to Scooter, a 7 year old Maltese/Yorkie. This Coton is very submissive. They are very good jumpers. The hair is very beautiful, but lots of daily maintenance. We are convinced that Waldo gets cuter EVERY DAY! They show have a partner for sure because they require ALOT of attention. I wouldn't even think of having one alone. I've never experienced such a wonderful pet, he really has taken our family hearts!
Francie and Oscar are wonderful! I love this breed. I own 2 Havanese that I truly adore, but this may be my next choice. What fabulous little fluffs of happiness.
I wanted to give Francie 11 biscuits, but once again it tells me I've already given biscuits. Judging by cute little Francie's score, I may not have given her high marks, darnit.
Anyway, disregarding the idiots, she is a doll and I particularly like her expression in this picture...and that white hair that's always across her nose. Enjoy. Two is better. I'm about to get Border Collie number 3. I think I may be crazy....but oh well
Hey Mom...I am ready to go sailing!!
I have never heard of this breed, but she is quite adorable. She seriously look like they she is a stuffed animal! Too cute...
Many biscuits for Francie today!! (And don't forget Oscar and Bruce, too!)
What a beautiful ball of fluff you have. It must be wonderful just to pet that fur. I wish both your kids 100 biscuits each.
Francie is soooo cute, and her and her brother make an adorable pair. She really does look like an angel, and i would absolutely love to brush and pet her for an hour with all that awesome fluff. Enjoy Francie.
Oh my....this was very difficult choosing a favorite. Francie is just gorgeous! I hope you enjoy her for many years!
Francie is fabulous! I am owned by a 9 year old Coton named Charlie so I know the joy you feel at having two such wonderful friends. My life with Charlie just keeps getting better and better. I was told before I got him that this was the "perfect breed", and I now truly believe that. Enjoy your life together with these beautiful pups.
Absolutely adorable!! In the first pic Francie looks just like my Bichon Trixie when she was a pup (tho with much curlier hair). As others have said, I adore all the little white fluffball breeds. They just can't be beat for sheer cuteness.
Enjoy Francie and tell Oscar that in the long run, having a baby sister is fantastic!
What a beautiful pair of cottons! I think I'm in love...........hugs and kisses to both of you.........
Francie is adorable! Sounds like a great breed for people with allergies to dogs. Afghan Hounds, Portuguese Water Dogs, GoldenDoodles, etc....all fit the bill but are pretty big dogs who need lots of physical activity. Francie is perfect for apartments, travel, loving, hugging, kisses - ha! Enjoy this adorable little girl and her big brother and father too! She is very very sweet indeed.
You are so lucky to have 2 beautiful puppies. I've been planning
on getting a coton for a couple of years. As soon as I retire and
can stay home with him all day, I will get one. Maybe two!!!
Have a long and happy life with your two gorgeous doggies.
I have a Coton!! His name is Benji and he is a devil too!! But he is also the biggest mush and my very best friend. I will post pics soon!
My friend has a Coton, or I would not have known about the breed either. The funny thing is, she told me she was getting a rare breed----which it is---but she had never heard of Kooikerhondje until I got Ori...but then, hardly anyone has. Her Kellie is very cute, very white & very small--Just like Francie! I especially love the black nose & eyes on that whiter, than white fluffball.
Many, many years of adorable fluffy years, in good health!
11 biscuits, at least!!!
Ooooh what a cutie you are. You have hair the same as the Poodles do. I guess you will have to have that beautiful hair styled now and then.
Francie, you are such a special little pup. I'm sure you'll have your parents trained in no time at all.
what an adorable puppy!!!! I have a Yorkie poo and he looks something like him.....best of luck with the little angel!
XOXO to him
Francie and Oscar are such a cute pair! I love learning about new (to me) breeds. I also agree that at least a pair of dogs is the minimum! We actually have 3 pairs here! LOL
Oh Francie you are the cutest little baby!!!! You are ADORABLE!!!!!!!!! and so is your brother Oscar!!! I love this pic of you 2!!! You are truly Precious!!!
Many kisses, hugs and biscuits to you!!!
Best wishes always!!!
I just LOVE the little white dogs! I have a Bichon and a friend of mine has a Coton! They are not a breed you commonly see but they are fabulous!
I have one of these little munchkins . Her name is Delilah and she has brown and gray ears and her hair is very curly. She is my best buddy and the light of my life. So I know how wonderful Cotons are. Enjoy!
what a yummy, yummy, scrumtios puppy she has melted my heart many happy days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
Your puppy is SO cute! She could be called honey, because she sure looks as sweet as it. Hopefully she spins other peoples heart to love her just as she has spun mine!
Francie...you are adorable!! A little cotton ball of fluff :-) Better stay outta the mud too!! :-) I hope you and your friend have a long healthy fun life....and a million doggie treats to you too!!!
Francie is such a sweetie! 100 biscuits for you! I never heard of this breed either but I am sure they are in many pet shows!
I live in Downers Grove, IL and foster dogs of all shapes and sizes! I totally agree that 2 are double the pleasure.
I just love this picture 'cause it says "I'm happy, so there". I too agree two is better than one. I have two Boston Terriers and I wouldn't have it any other way. Enjoy your two - plenty of kisses & belly rubs to go around!
Lovely dog, with lots of expression in her face! Cotons are a cousin of the bichon frise, which is also a hair dog. I have a 5 year old female bichon. Love both the Cotons and the Bichons!
I had never heard of this breed, but it looks to me as if you have two of the best!! They are soo cute!! Bless you all
