Hunter the Golden Retriever
Hunter's mom says: Hunter is my first puppy who is keeping me company as I finish up college in Pittsburgh. I got him in New Jersey in August 2007 at 2 months old, and wow has he grown since then! He has quite the personality which he grows into more and more each day. He loves to chew bones and roll around with his toys, but his favorite is the puppy park! He can't wait until spring comes so we can go to the park more often and play with his old friends. He loves to cuddle and tries to sneak onto my bed whenever he can. He is very smart, maybe even too smart, and is a shining star at puppy class. He is most obedient at meal time because he knows to sit and wait to eat until I give the "okay" release. He always cries when someone leaves the room because he doesn't want the play time to end! He's my best friend!
wow, i'm commenting right after my dad. growing up i had a goldie/shepard mix and I've always had a special spot in my heart for them. He's adorable. The picture where he's "helping" with the dishes is just too cute. congrats on the love of your life. he's a cutie and a keeper
The love, trust and loyalty in those eyes almost defies comprehension. Two truckloads of cookies -- He's adorable.
Hunter's eyes have melted me into a pool of mush. What a precious, darling boy. If his paws are any indication, he will grow into a very big, beautiful boy! Endless happy doggy days to you and your boy. :)

Hunter is a very handsome boy! I'm glad to see other dogs enjoy getting in the dishwasher to "rinse" those plates clean before the wash cycle! I bet Hunter helps out with all the household chores!

The greatest breed on the planet and yours is a beautiful example. You call him your "best friend" and that is what Goldens are. I once read, and it has proven so in our home, "the only goal a golden has in life is to please their family !!"

I know Hunter's mom very well, and it pleases me to share with all of you that she is the best mommy on the planet! She has disciplined him so well.
Hunter ! You handsome devil ! You look like such a friendly chap and that little puppy tongue and gorgeous soft fluffy fur is just too much to handle !!! Simply oozing exteme cuteness in every photo should surely be a puppy crime !! It was almost too difficult to choose a fav pic - the dishwasher photo is priceless, he's saying with those gorgeous big eyes "I'm such a smart and good boy Mummy, can I help you with that?" He looks very sweet and playful, and what a great name ! We have a English Staffy pup that would love nothing more than to have a run around and play with you sometime ! Hunter is so cute. My brother has two G. R., Abby & Shadow that he got from a G.R. rescue so they were already grown. They wonder what Abby & especially Shadow were like as puppies. Shadow is so full of energy now I can imagine what he was like as a pup. Hunter looks like a typical lovable retriever always ready to please their human parents. Lots of treats for Hunter.

i love goldies and they are great for first time dog owners they are very easy to train and so so clever........
they are a very popular breed but each and every one has a different personality and that is what makes them so special.

That handsome baby should be in movies! :) It's true what they say about Goldens. I cannot deny it. I may love Aussies, but you won't find a more loyal best friend than a Golden. I really think they are more in tune to humans than other breeds. They should rule the world. Love your name choice, too! I was going to name my first child Hunter but he turned out to be a girl. LOL
