Marley the Boxer/ Lab Mix
Marley's mom says: Marley is 6 weeks old and on the rare occasions when shes not sleeping, she loves to play. She's doing very well with potty training with very few accidents. Marley loves to eat snow and chew on anything she can find. She loves kids and meeting new people. It doesn't matter who you are if she's tired she'll crawl up in your lap and fall asleep. We've only had Marley for a week but we've already fell in love with her.

When I was a kid I had a soft toy 'Pound Puppy' that was the spitting image of her! I bet she feels just as soft too. *squeezes*

Picking a favorite pose of this adorable puppy was VERY hard. She is so precious - she can curl up in my lap any time she wants. My lab mix and I will smother her with kisses, hugs and belly rubs or licks. I could look at her all day but must work. Many happy years with her and give her lots of love from me and my Abby.

5 weeks old when you got her is so young!!!!
You have to make sure she is socialized with dogs bc usually puppies are kept with their mothers/littermates until 8 weeks for proper socialization.

There are just not enough words in the dictionary to describe how adorable Marley is. I had a hard time picking my favorite but this one with the belly makes you want to blow rasberries on her cute little tummy.

Pwecious widdle baby!!! Black lab puppies are little round dolls with doll's eyes. I have 2 black lab/chow mix 8 year olds. I work at home at night and they sleep next to my PC on their backs with paws up. If I feel hyper, I can lie down with my head on their bellies and have a relaxation session - they love it and it calms me down. You will love your black lab - congratulations on a beautiful little button of a puppy!!

i would like to say how much i adore Simone the boxer puppy, she has captured my heart, i printed off all her pictures and laminated them and put them on the wall near my pc.

when i was little we owned a jack russel named whisky. Then we had a staffordshire bull terrier named Max. My parents split up back in 1995, my mum owns a lhasa apso named oliver, my dad now owns a staffordshire bull terrier named ruby. My sister who moved out years ago owns a labrador named roxy.
I must post some pictures when I get time.

That bed is going be the right size for about 3 weeks! (I adopted a black lab/dane? mix. The black lab is clear the other is something giant. Anyway I thought I got a large enough crate and bed.... NO I didn't. This is my way of saying she could get kinda big! And yes... labs are eternal puppies.

She's very cute, but isn't 5 weeks a bit young to come away from her mother? The recommended guidelines say puppies should not be weaned younger than 8 weeks.

Is this little face not exactly what you are looking for when you come to this site. She is absolutely precious and I am a sucker for a tender pink belly!
To the gentleman(?) who commented above me, while I do agree with your beliefs (both of my girls are rescued), is this really the proper place to climb on a soapbox? This has come up many times before and these people are well aware of the need for so many good homes. 'Preaching' changes no ones mind. And incidentally, there is nothing in the comments from Marley's mom that even suggests that she was SHOPPED for, she may be adopted for all you know! But even if she isn't, you have no right to force your beliefs on anyone.
Marley looks like she's starving.....NOT! She's just a new baby with some serious growing to do- you're gonna have so much fun w/ her!!! And thanks sooo much for your opinion mk, but really I think everyone on this sight is aware of the animal shelter situation. Yes it's sad but no we are not responsible- irresponsible and uncommited pet owners are.

mk - You are preaching to the wrong people. I believe the people on this site give their dogs great forever homes. We are not responsible for abandoned dogs. A dog is a great commitment in time, money and emotion and you can't dictate what we choose to lavish our attention on whether it is a pure breed from a breeder or a mix ( or purebreed) from a shelter. I have both types in my pack. I don't feel guilty for having bought from breeders. Having said that I do urge all to donate (time or money or both!) to your local animal shelter.
