Mica the Retriever/Terrier Mix
Mica's mom says: Mica is the newest addition to our household and is creating havoc already! We adopted her from Wright Way Rescue when she was 8 weeks old; she was the runt of the litter. Mica is growing quickly and enjoys jumping, running and sleeping. She also loves kongs filled with cream cheese and smelly bones. She likes to explore Chicago and take walks to the Petsmart down the street. Hopefully we can go to the park more often when it gets a little warmer. Mica also likes to chew paper products, socks and leaves, but we are working on our obedience training to curb these habits! She is an inquisitive, playful puppy and loves everyone person and dog she meets. We are so happy to have our baby peanut, Mica.

What a precious baby doll you are Mica. Don't know where or how the terrier comes into play, but that would explain the havoc!. They can be terrors but those sweet eyes would get away with a lot at my house. Many happy, healthy years with this little one.

Labs are known as the "happy dogs" and combine that with the energy of a terrier and you have one frisky puppy. I love this picture: she's just sniffing out her world and trying to see what is edible. The old adage "if it's a noun, a dog has eaten it" may apply to Mica?

What an adorable puppy! My husband and I found a little dog just like that in our trash can! I know, that's horrible. We fell in love right away. We never knew for sure what he was but we suspect he's a chihuahua/rat terrier mix, just based on looks. He's a god-send and we're lucky to have him...a year and a half later. :0) Thanks for sharing your adorable pictures.

When I was young (a loooong time ago) I had a puppy named Toby that could have been Mica's great, great grampa. I hope that her temperament is as sweet as his was in the same way that her face is. Thanks for taking me back.

it is so cool that she likes to jump! you should train her and when she is older enter her in an agility trial! my dog loves jumping and is good at it but i don't know how or were to enter agility trials.
Life doesn't get much better than watching a content little pup pup sleep. Those little puppy feets with the pink pads are tooo sweet. Live long, play hard and stay healthy little Mica.

She had a similiar face to Mica. :) She's cute though...maybe some day I'll see her wandering around Chicago with her family. Mica's a doll, and of course she likes to chew stuff she shouldn't -- look at her heritage! lol. Seriously, thank you for bringing this little beauty into your home and hearts (love the chin whiskers!), and may she provide you with smiles and cuddles for many years to come.
A darling baby dog!! I love Mica's white toes & this photo just puts you right on the floor with her---When I saw it, I realized this is something I still do with all my "pack" members. I think I do it because it bonds us over & over again....we see/feel etc. each other @ the same level.
