parker's mom says: We first saw Parker in front of the Wal-Mart in our small town. His owner was selling him and his sisters, four-week-old little fuzzballs of Corgi mix love and we had to have him. He's been with us for four months now and he's a playful, precocious little mess! His favorite things to do are chew, chew, chew, eat, play soccer and run away with laundry. He's a sweet boy who loves kids and other dogs, big and small, especially at the park. Now that Parker's a little bigger and stronger, he's learned to jump up on the couch and bed and snuggle on the blankets with us. His dad is a big comic book fan, so he gets his name from Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker! He's become a little superhero in his own right.
My Corgi mix, Barkles Sparkles, is a funny sleeper too. We rescued her at 18 months, so missed the baby stage. Thanks for sharing! And she's the reason I always say, Sleeping Puppies Rock!
People so emotionally cold and intellectually damaged as to be able to treat any animal like that should be slapped until their brains start working?? Congratulations for rescuing this adorable fur-ball; the world needs many more kind souls like you!
Parker is one cute little fella! Hopefully he will quickly learn to behave his little self for you. Enjoy! I'm glad he found a loving home.
i don't comment very often, but with Parker...i just couldn't resist!!!! sooooo cute!!!!! love his eyes too!!
awwww, i love him so much....wish i have one too...*sighs* xD
Parker is such a handsome fellow!!!! What an adorable Corgi!!!! I'm so glad you found him, what a blessing he is in your life. Parker, you are so lucky your human pack has you to love and cherish. Lots of belly rubs, kisses, and snuggles from our critter gang!!!! All the best!
Definitely Malamute or Husky in there what with that blue eye and the one pose where it looks as if he is stalking something.
Parker is absolutely ADORABLE!!!! I love his little face. I agree with a previous comment that he must have some Husky in him. I have a Siberian Huksy who is now one and a half, but when he was a puppy, he looked just like Parker (except for the color). My Husky even has 1 blue eye and one brown eye, and the same white stripe between his eyes. Jake was a previous puppy and grown-up puppy of the day...check him out!
Enjoy Parker, he won't stay a little bundle of fur for long!! :)
I also see the Husky in him and not just because of the blue eye. Malamutes have brown eyes, though.
That guy definitely should not have been selling his puppies at four weeks of age... puppies need to be with their littermates the full eight weeks to fully benefit from the development that occurs in that time.
He's definitely a cutie, though. Congrats! That picture that you took while he's peeing cracks me up. One of my dogs still pees like that and he's almost 2.
how adorable. I loved all the pictures that you shared with us. Parker is a special boy & you're so lucky to have found him. And Parker is so very lucky that special people like you & your husband to have in his life. millions of biscuits.
I'm melting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a precious boy.
My only question is....if his brothers and sisters are as sweet as him, how did you choose? I'd want the whole lot!!!
Aww, soft little mushmouse!! I would love to rub his little belly and that fuzzy fur!! Many long days with Parker. It mst have been hard to pick him from 4!!

What an adorable little baby! I never had a corgi but he sure is adorable. I can't imagine why anyone would sell any puppy at 4 weeks of age...that guy needs to have his head examined. I feel all pups should be neutered or spayed as soon as they are old enough. All of my dogs and pups get spayed or neutered as soon as they are five months old; dogs over that age get spayed or neutered immediately if it has not already been done. I love all dogs of any breed; they are the most loving animals ever created and I can't imagine life without a few dogs around! I just love them to pieces! How I wish I could meet all the dogs and pups I meet here; I would just love to hold and hug them all. My little Shih-tzu is a male at 5 months old. He just had his surgery one week ago and was bouncing around like nothing happened when I brought him home...and he was to "remain quiet" for a few days, HA! Not possible with my little Owen! He and my male sheltie "Andy" pee like little girls...it is so funny! Ripley, my male Brittany is the only dog I have that lifts his leg. He "helped" me build a snowman about a week ago....and promptly lifted his leg on it when I was finished with it! Three of my dogs were featured here...Owen as a puppy of the day and Ripley and Andy were featured as grown up puppies. I just love reading about everyones dogs and pups on this site...they are all so precious and beautiful! If I could I'd give them all a case of milkbones just for their beauty alone!
Parker you are so lucky to have found a wonderful family to love and cherish you and they will reap the reward of the unconditional love you will bestow on them for your entire life. Hugs and kisses to you precious Parker and to all dogs everywhere!
Parker is a cute little guy, sent from above. Lucky you!! He seems to be very healthy and happy, now that he has a mama and papa to take extra special care of him. God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness.
Oh my.......I see how you fell hard here. He is so cute and could wrap me around his paws in a minute. Parker is such a cute name for your precious puppy!:)
Parker is so cute, he reminds me of our Chloe who is a Corgi mix too that we got from a shelter when she was about 18 months old. She has put so much joy into our lives and I know Parker will do the same for you. Enjoy him.
What's not to love! I very rarely go gooey, but I have to say this soft little face did make me go "aw". No pictures of him making off with the laundry though - shame! I'm not surprised you fell for him instantly. I wish you years of joy with those fabulous ears. (I am a sucker for fabulous ers!)
Well, Parker, you are a very cute little fellow! And I can see such intelligence in your eyes - far more than your first owner obviously had, thinking you should leave your Mom and littermates at only four weeks old. I think neutering would be a good thing for your Mom... and also for your first owner, actually (preventing the passing on of a single-digit IQ). But I digress... this page is about you, and you deserve your day in the spotlight - enjoy!!
Parker is ADORABLE! There is nothing like a Corgi puppy. It's not that unusual to see Corgis with blue eyes. I would love to know what he is mixed with. What a sweet puppy!
Sorry Parker........forgot to put my favorite pic of you :-) It's a hard one.....you are just so cute in all of them. But here goes.......this pic makes me want to get down on all 4's and play with you.
he so looks like a little bear cub to me... a gazillion biscuts to you...
and lots of rspberry's on that plump wittle puppy tummy!!! meesa wuvs puppy tummys!!! I can never resist giving bully rubs when there is one like that exposed!!!
don't give your owners too much of a hard time little one... and I wish you a long happy life!!!
Parker looks like such a bundle of joy. Hope all his siblings are as lucky as litle Parker. Hugs, kisses and 11 biscuits from Kansas USA.
Ahhh - another upside-down sleeping puppy. That pose gets to me everytime!!!
Parker is a real cutie. Enjoy him for many, many years to come.
Happy adventures and unlimited biscuits to you Parker.
Serious cute-overload! This is my favorite pic and I agree with some other posters that there may be husky in him but in the last pic he looks a little Shiba Inu too. Always fun to guess what the "other half" is! Bless you for rescuing him from those careless owners. Yes, four weeks is terribly young to be parted from your mother and littermates but you did a good thing, considering any possible alternatives. Here's wishing you many years of fun and happiness with your little guy!
OHG...............Parker you such a handsome little man!!!! This is a look that melts my heart and you could get what every you want from me just by looking at me! Hope you and your new family have years of joy and happiness together. Tons of hugs, kisses, and biscuits!
Wonderful corgi poses!!! This is the one I always call the 'hailing the taxi' stage where one ear has popped up and the other one is still down!!! corgis rule! Enjoy a lifetime of entertainment from yours!!
I would definitely say that he's mixed with a husky:) He's absolutely adorable! Enjoy many happy years with Parker!
What a precious doggie. :) I love his mix, his fur, ears and eyes and everything.
I must say that selling those pups at only 4 weeks old is way too young, but thank goodness this one is in a good home and obviously getting a LOT of love and attention.
He's a true beauty! Enjoy him.
oh my god! I think I'm in love! I believe he's my favorite puppy I've seen on this site! Absolutly adorable!
" Whew ! Thanks for coming to Wall Mart that day. Where would I have ended up that day when I was only 4 weeks old ??"
I can see why you couldn't resist him. He's adorable! Like the other poster I can't resist the sleeping puppy pics. Live long and be happy Parker and of course 11plus biscuits. Best Wishes from Spain.
That is one seriously cute little man. I love his adorable little face and pudgy body. I am totally in love with Parker. Love his name and bio, too. I predict you will have tons of fun with this little honey. There are not enough biscuits or good wishes in the world for Parker!
OMG cutest lil guy!! I swear corgi puppies are the cutest puppies ever! I may be a lil biased as I have a corgi mix myself..she resembles Parker a bit... :o) ENJOY!!!!
He is adorable... so fuzzy! I especially love his different colored eyes; I think it's too cute when dogs have that :)
Ok - this is the 1st time I've added comments even though I've been a fan of the Daily Puppy for a long time! My last 2 dachshunds were purchased in a small town in front of a Wal-Mart! After that, my husband said we couldn't go to that Wal-Mart anymore because I always came home with a puppy. We love our 3 babies - enjoy your beautiful Corgi-mix!!!!!!!!
A super hero is right! I love this little guy! He's so cute and looks cuddly too, not to mention the fact that his eyes are gorgeous. Enjoy little Parker for years to come.
I have been a long time view of Dailypuppy.com and Parker has made me register...he's that cute, I just had to say something.
My favorite picture on the page is the one with his head tilted with his blue eye looking up...as if to say, "What you talkin' bout?"
So cute!
"People so emotionally cold and intellectually damaged as to be able to treat any animal like that should be slapped until their brains start working"
I believe people who mistreat animals should be thoroughly horsewhipped and then put in the stocks (like they used in Puritan times) with signs on them that say "I am cruel to animals." I would be gladly be the one handing out the rotten tomatoes to throw at them.
you sure he's a corgi mix? he looks more like a siberian husky mixed with corgi or maybe something else. He's so adorable!!!
Quiet little fellow? He is so good looking. I have never had a corgi but I might some day. I have a maltese cross. He will be 9 next month. I have learned something lately about how dogs should see the vet for proper teeth cleaning at least once a year. Wow can't believe I never knew. I clean his teeth, but I do wish that dog toothpaste didn't taste so good to him. He eats the toothpaste so fast I wonder if i am ever helping.
Good Luck and help him keep his perly whites.
Don't know about the corgi part, but the bi-color eyes sure look like husky to me! Whatever the mix, Parker is a most handsome young man! I wanted to say something here about irresponsible breeding, but I'd be preaching to the choir, so suffice to say I am very glad this lovely little man came home with you and is having the time of his life!
I had a Cocker/Corgi mix for about 15 years and he was the most wonderful friend and companion ever. You are most fortunate to have this little guy and I'm sure he'll bring you many years of love and faithfulness, as did my little "Duster" -- named so as he looked like a little dust ball when he was just weaned and we acquired him. The max in biscuits to your little joyful creature!!
Wal Mart? Why would you get a dog at Wal Mart? This guy is so cute, but for goodness sake, getting a dog at Wal Mart?
hello! I am Parker's mom and we we're told he is mixed with shar pei! He is only about 25lbs at 5 mos so i don't know if he has husky in him or not! He is definatley short and stout. We also wanted to let everyone know he is nutered ! Thanks for all the love!
xoxo
Parker and his folks!
What a little sweetie! I've just started hearing of Corgis and I'm so facinated by them. Those short legs and big ears are so cute. Hugs and kisses to you Parker.....
You turned a bad situation (handing out babies like samples) and
made into something warm and filled with love. He is special and so are you.
What a cute puppy. 11 biscuits and many wonderful years with your baby. I am sooo jealous that you get to kiss that sweet thing everyday!
Oh Parker you are soooooo cute!!!! I want to give you a million kisses!!! :) Being this cute should be illegal!!! :) You are a PRECIOUS little doggie!!! :)
Many kisses, hugs and biscuits!!!
Happy New Year and best wishes always!!
My dad had an elderly Corgi to whom he gave a great home when she was abandoned. She was such a loving dog. She passed away last summer at what appeared to be a ripe old age. Her last years were filled with love and treats! :o)
Parker is a cutie, for sure. I wish him a very long, happy and healthy life, and may his masters be blessed for giving him love and a good home.
Blessings to everyone.
Just Jim G
he's simply gorgeous -- i want one! ... and @ first i thought i saw my chow-chow's cute purple tongue!:P
Oh - ooo - sigh!!! Sleeping pup! Precious, plump, precocious, priceless Parker. Enjoy a long and healthy life, little one!
Oh my goodness, he is too cute. If he were my little guy, I'd spend the entire day kissing him. Thank you for saving him and many, mnay wonderful years with him.
My daughter went shopping at a WalMart here in Southern California. A family was outside the store selling cookies. The father asked my daughter if she wanted cookies, she told him no, she wanted the dog. So he gave her the dog. I couldn't believe someone would give up their family pet so easily until I discovered she had been abused. Now she is the light of our lives. My daughter named her after our new Associate Pastor of our church. Which caused a lot of confusion when we were overheard saying we wanted to get Jena "fixed" before she got pregnant. Ha. Enjoy your little bundle of love. I am thankful for the idiot who didn't know what a wonderful little dog he had and gave her up so easily for me to love. I am sure you are just as happy. One mom to another, love is all they need.
Obviously the catch word of the day (in describing Parker) is ADORABLE. How true! Parker, YOU ROCK!
Hooray for Corgies and Wieners- Short legs rule!!
You're so lucky to have that cute little boy in your life! I can't even imagine what I would do with that angel. I'd let nobody else touch it. Oh yes, I can see the corgi in him. And do I see Alaskan Klee Kai or Siberian Husky? Either way he's just adorable! All of his pictures are too cute for me! My dog Allie just loves eating anything she can get her paws on. Like a Beagle, but allie is a schipperke. Anyway.. cutie! 11 Buscuits!! (why would anybody on earth want to sell him!? then.. they probly aren't from Earth)
Love those corgis! Parker is super cute!
