Remi Bella the Italian Greyhound
Remi's mom says: Remi Bella was my first puppy. She has brought such joy to my life that I wonder why I waited fifty years to start a family. She arrived in March 2007 when she was twelve weeks old and never once cried, barked or growled. She loves to lie in her bed in a sunny window and cuddle with Mommy in "our" bed. Remi is a great communicator...she points, taps, and leads to me the things she wants or needs. Because she's an Italian Greyhound, she has transformed our home into a race track. It's amazing to watch Remi Bella and her baby sister, Chloe, fly like bullets from room to room, using the bed, toy chest, and chair arms as hurdles. She may look delicate, but her athletic abilities, agility, and flexibility are incredible!
Love the one of Remi Bella and Chloe (both beautiful), but I got my biggest smile from Remi Bella's "pin-up" shot! :-)
How cute is she?? Especially in her "BLING" lol Remi looks like a real sweetheart! Lucky You!!!
I had never heard of the IG until I adopted a dog that was half IG and half Chihuahua......My boy has the IG body, but the head of a Chi! Beautiful, graceful body with BIG ears!!! :)
I totally can relate to Remi turning your house into a racetrack! They certainly know how to put their energy to use!!! I love watching my boy run around in the yard as well. Enjoy your pretty girls!

I live with 2 IG's (one is 16 and one is 12 years old) and one dachshund. They rule the house -- your girls are simply gorgeous! I wish for you many happy healthy years with these sensitive, sweet, loving and beautiful girls!!!!

What a pretty pair! One of my neighbors has a pair as well, and I always smile watching them prance down the street. That last picture is just the cutest thing!
OMG - what a beauty! Bella, indeed! Those eyes, those long lovely limbs - definitely an Italian aristocrat. But the nibbling-the-bed pic! That really tickled me - 'cause there she is in all the photos looking sooo sophisticated, demure and elegant...then, oops! Oh yeah, don't doubt, I'm definitely a PUPPY! LOL! Awesome little lady.

I know most doggies on this website have a wonderful life- but the ones with a brother or sister (dog) are really the happiest. It really is a good thing for them to have another dog in the house- thank you for doing that for Remi!!! Have a wonderful life with your "children".
Well I would have to quit my job and stay home all day and play with these gorgeous little critters if they lived with me. You are blessed to have such beautiful creatures to take care of. Enjoy your spirited babies.

Both Remi Bella and Chloe are adorable......I never got into the Greyhounds too much as I didn't know much about them until my fiance brought his two year old greyhound/lab mix, Gambit, into my life. Everything you say is so true..... they are a magnificant breed to watch with their grace and agility. Gambit's wonderful behavior tells me that both breeds are a joy to have. Enjoy the many years to come with your girls!

Remi is so beautiful, I mean really beautiful. Her coat and eyes. WOW!! Her pictures are all wonderful and she looks like such a delicate lady in them. I know though. She is very athletic. Good for you that you have started a family after fifty years. Yes, they bring so much love into your life, not to mention all the smiles they bring. I have trained many dogs over the years, but training an Italian Greyhound was truly a pleasure. His name is Jack and he has a great mommy and daddy who did everything I taught them to do. I still see Jack and his family at the doggie park from time to time. He has grown into a very handsome boy. They are a beautiful and elegant breed. Lots of gentle hugs and kisses!!

I too think the collar looks tight but it is probably just the pic as I'm sure Mom checks those things. Some in this blog have your babes mixed up with Greyhounds. They are gorgeous.

Squee! This is one of my absolute favourite breeds! Remi is gorgeous, just perfect, as is her little sister. I love the way her colouring makes her nose look like a little heart!
The look of Love. I sure hope mom has the energy to take both pups out for much needed running and playful fun. Both with you and with many other dogs too.Good luck keeping up. Were both in your age group, we have a 9 year old small breed dog and we take him out so often for play and fun and needs. That when anyone in our building sees either of us without him, their first words in many languages is where is Max. Children who were raised with the fear of dogs, can't wait to see him again. Very Very best of luck. JC. and Max too ! ps we have 1 parrot, 6 budgies and fish, they are all family to us. Our only son left home 7 years ago.He loves all animals to, but don't have time for to get his own yet.

[color=red]I have a strange passion for Italian Greyhounds, although i don't have one and never have had one. We can't have one at the moment because we have plenty of dogs already.
I am half Italian and I love any breed that is Italian.
Remi is very sleek and elegant as all Italian Greyhounds are and although they do look very fragile and breakable, as her owner said, they are actually quite muscular and very athletic,very speedy aswell.
But they are so so gentle and so beautiful. This breed is fascinating and I love them so so much. What i would give to have one of these........
They are very slender with, as you can see, big jewel eyes that bore into you. This is one type of dog that i can actually truly say is beautiful.
They are actually stunning. Honestly and seriously, they really are gorgeous.
