Riley's mom says: Riley is quite a character.He is so cute and really smart. He can ring a bell when he wants to go outside and can get into a lot of trouble. If you put him in a kitchen with gates up, he can escape. Riley loves to meet new people. When we first got him, he would go outside and dig in the garden and get really dirty. Riley loves to play and chew bones. He also bites really hard. Sometimes Riley would go to the front window and bark at people outside. Riley sleeps a lot. And also we find Riley's baby teeth everywhere. Right now we are training him how to sit, stay, and come. When we go out for walks with him, he runs like a bunny. Also he loves to play in the snow.When my mom comes to pick me up from school, my mom would bring Riley and Riley would try to jump on other kids. Riley loves to give kisses to people and his fur is really soft.
I love you, you're tooooo cute. You make all the other puppys jelous, i think you should be removed as to not make the others depressed.

i have a cockapoo. he is my best friend and so loving....but, i agree with goldenlover-please unteach him that biting is ok. once his adult teeth come in, it wont be cute anymore.... many years with and many biscuits to your cockapoo!!

What an adorable little dog! We had a Cockapoo when I grew up, Mitzy! She was a character and we loved her unconditionally (especially my Dad, who in the beginning, did not want her in the house). Now isn't that ironic ;o)! Take very good care of her and make sure she gets plenty lovins!

My little Cockapoo Zoe Rose and I are celebrating Riley's day in the spotlight! He sounds A LOT like our Zoe. He has the same coloring as Zoe, also. She did the biting thing, too. We would hold her mouth shut and say no rather sharply. Now she will only snip at you if you are attempting to comb some matts out. Cockapoos are a great mix. I had a wonderful cockapoo. She lived to over twenty years. She was very compassionate and exceptionally smart. Because they can live so very long, and are so much company, you need to set BOUNDARIES young and fair consistent rules for Riley or he will not be thought of as cute in his rebellious teenager months and larger size. If he gets rewarded for breaking the rules, he will continue to do so, and when you want him to stay behind the gate he should do so. It should not be an option. You need to be firm. I turned away from my puppy and left the room altogether, so his wonderful plans to be with me were foiled. Also, if teeth ever touch skin, he should know it hurts, say "OW!" If he doesn't get it, again turn away and leave him absolutely alone, until he has his "Ah hah." moment. Teeth--- ignore me. Nice--- love me. Animal control laws are now making really weird decisions regarding dog's teeth touching people's skin. Keep him safe from misinterpretation.
The more a puppy knows an adult is in charge the more his confidence grows, and then he has more time to learn because he doesn't have to take charge. Our house settled a great deal to cohabitation of peace and happy love fests when I crate trained my pup. Look into it, it's not cruel, and puppies do need an occasional time out. Especially to chill out, chew chewies, and nap in complete safety.

I have a cockapoo and he is the love of my life. I got Harley 7 years ago when the last thing on my list was a dog. He so smart and loving and I am so glad I picked a cockapoo for my first ever dog.
