Sunshine's mom says: Sunshine is a 2-month old female soft-coated Wheaton terrier. She was a Christmas present to our two boys, age 12 and 10. So far so is very good about sleeping at night and going to the bathroom outside. She has a very mild disposition but loves to play. She already plays catch with the tennis ball but her favorite toy is her pink stuffed pig. Terriers love water and it is evident when I give her a bath.
Sunshine is a lovely baby and she has elegant taste in doggie beds! I love Wheatens! Enjoy your little girl.
PUPPY TUMMY!!!! omg, i just wanna rub my face in sunshine's furry belly and give her rasberries:) i wish you all a long happy life.
Honestly the pictures just get cuter and cuter! And what I write here will simply not justify how pretty and adorable and loveable she really is! I'm in Love!
Oh my goodness!!! Who can pick a favorite picture out of these? I love them all!! Sunshine is an adorable sweetheart!! Lucky You!!!
What a baby and what a wonderful name Sunshine is. I just want to snuggle up with you. Lots of cuddles and biscuits. xxxxxxxxxx
Thank you for Sunshine on this cloudy day. I hope the sun shines on her and the whole famuly every day!!!
She looks like quite a sweetie.
Sunshine is so adorable!!!! Many happy days are ahead of all of you. We wish you joy, sunshine filled days to play outdoors, lots of belly rubs, snuggles, and a long and healthy life!! We watched the Eukanuba dog show the other night and saw a wheaton terrior in it's group!! I love to watch the dogs on the Championship shows. I was so glad the little terrior won Best in Show and not another poodle!!!! I want one of each, lol. Take care and all the best from our critter gang!!
What a sweet babygirl!! Our Wheaten Terrier Sunny is 5 years old - time flies so enjoy these puppy days!!!
Although all puppies are cute, I think I have fallen in love. She is just the sweetest and the name seems to fit her perfectly. I especially love the one of her lying on her back with her tummy up. What dog doesn't like a good tummy rub.
One thing is for sure, this little precious bundle was named correctly! She is about the prettiest girl puppy evah!!! And such a girly girl in her pink toile and leopard bed!!! Gorgeous puppy, she deserves extra biscuits and snuggles.
Wheatons are the best! They are so easy to train and they get along with every living creature! (well, sometimes they chase cats, but they still love them!) Beautiful, hypo-allergenic, non-shedding, and the sweetest disposition, what more could you want?? Kisses, Sunshine doll!
Sunshine is a great name. Every single picture, which they are all great, makes you feel like the sun is shining on you. Happy.... Your family is very lucky to have Sunshine. God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness.
Sunshine looks just like my Wally when he was a baby! I'm so excited to see a wheatie on the Daily Puppy :) It is interesting how everything you described about Sunshine sounded like a description of Wally - except for the bath - Wally could do without those for sure!
I wish you many, many years of play!
Mom can't i even get a little sleep without the camera ?
She is very cute. So you got the boys a watch dog ah!
Yes she'll be watching for everyone to get home. Ha Ha
On a cold rainy day in Kansas Sunshine has arrived - the best kind. You have your own brand of Sunshine every day of the year. What a cutie. Hugs, kisses and 11 biscuits.
My page already says "Thank you for the biscuits." I certainly hope I gave her 11.
Anyway, I've only ever seen two of these in real life and they're just as cute (if not even cuter) as adults.
Sunshine is gorgeous. A million biscuits for her.
"You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine
You Make me Happy when Clouds Are Grey
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my Sunshine away"
How cute is Sunshine?! I wish I could give her more than 11 biscuits! Have you noticed there is a PILLOW in her bed, aww I love it! It's gotta be the comfiest looking bed ever! Lots of snuggles and belly-rubs to Sunshine, you have certainly brightened up this grey day in the North of England :-)
"turn off the light!! i didn't steal your craditcard!! uuumm the pig??? well....i...umm.....hehe :-) "
Oh my goodness! I almost can't stand the level of cuteness here! Sunshine is adorable sleeping with her piggy. And my poodle Zoe says she wants a dog bed just like Sunshine's!
Sunshine is sooo cuddly, she has a perfect name, Wheatons have wonderful dispositions! She needs BELLY RUBS!!!!!
Makes me think of the Jimmie Davis song -- "You are my Sunshine, my little Sunshine, you make me happy whem skies are gray." I'm sure your Sunshine can make any day a good one. She's precious.
Love her lots.
How gorgeous...so many beautiful pups and so little time...Best wishes for much joy with your Sunshine. 11 biscuits aren't quite enough for this sweetie!
Sunshine is gorgeous! I have my own Suni Sunshine. Her name describes her character and not her colour as she's a Groenendael BSD and is jet black. Your Sunshine has the golden colour and disposition to suit her name. May you have many happy years together. 11plus biscuits to Sunshine (lucky you - what a great regal looking bed you have - very plush) Couldn't resist the sleeping puppy pic - rarely can!
Very Best wishes from Sunny Spain.
Play now or play later... lol
I had a wheaton as a foster just last summer.
She was a fluffy bundle of joy too.
Sunshine is Beautiful!! Congrats!
p.s. The song I sing (badly) to my Sunshine is Sunny by Dusty Springfield. A great song. Have a google!
Soft Coated Wheaten's are the greatest! My "baby," Emily Anne, is just a love. Of course, she tries to eat EVERYTHING in sight! They are very intelligent dogs and also very stubborn when they want to be; overall though, they are excellent additions to the family. Sunshine is beautiful and her name suits her well. Have a wonderful life with her...she'll never let you down.
What a beautiful puppy. I'd love to snuggle and wuggle her all day long :) She is just tooooooooooooooooooo adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, too hard to pic a favorite photo but had to go with the puppy tummy. She is precious. As for loving the water, not all terriers do. Mine wouldn't go near it for anything, and as for baths, what a struggle. Anyway, many happy years together. Terriers are happy, loving dogs. Enjoy.
My 3 year old still sleeps with her favorite stuffed animal. She looks so cute with her pig. Lots of biscuits for this cute little girl :)
What an absolute doll. Love the pig! Wheatens are so precious. Sunshine is the perfect name for a cheery little Wheaten. :)
Sunshine, you are soooooo cute! Give your family lots of love - I know you will. Our Westies used to have a pink pig (that is until the puppy chewed it up). Sweet dreams and lots of belly rubs and kisses to you.
Sunshine is a perfect name for a beautiful girl. Tennis balls were the favorite of my Foster. I wish you all the love & fun that she will bring you in the years to come.
Sunshine has certainly brought a liitle bit of sunshine to my life today, she is very beautiful, Give her lots of cuddles!!
What a sweet little furry bundle of goodness! Thanks for sharing your Sunshine today! We all need the warmth this time of year. Cute, cute puppy!
Sunshine is a beautiful name for a very beautiful puppy! I love this picture of her sleeping whilst hugging her pink pig. What a sweet girl. I wish you all the happiness in the world with her!
Ohhhh, she is sooooo sweet! She looks like she is very quiet--an observer. Love her! Lots of biscuits for her!
I love this picture, my babies do this and it always makes me smile. I don't think I'd make it without tummy rubs!!
ohcheemama. Not enough biscuits for voting today, that's for sure. Sunshine is warming up my day too! I could just snuggle her to bits! I'm thinking she might the breed I have to get next! Give her lots of lovin' and I love that she has a little pink piggy.
What a sweet, sweet baby girl! I haven't seen this breed before, but I plan on investigating one for myself!! Enjoy the Sunshine! :)
Wheaton's can give a nasty bite! As a Vet. I've had my fair share of these dogs......I love them to bits - my colleague won't go near one. You have a beautiful dog...........ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought my college age daughter a wheaten puppy for Christmas. Before that, I had never seen a wheaten terrier. After that, I fell in love! I miss Murphy almost as much as my daughter. LOVE WHEATENS! I'm even thinking about breeding them on my farm.
Rita
What a soft little bundle of sweetness she is! She's beautiful! I wish I could reach in on the page and nuzzle that adorable belly.....Sunshine I wish you a great loving life and enjoy your big brothers! 11 biscuits for you too sweetie.

[i]Before I logged on to Daily Puppy-- I had no earthly idea what a Wheaton Terrier was. So, when I saw your cutie Sunshine, I was kind of 'iffy'. I was like "will she be cute?" and then I read the discription-- I was then like, "Ok... I'm soft for this puppy..." and then I saw the other pictures....
Woah.
Sunshine reminds me of that song-- oh, how does it go?
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine....you make me Happy when skies are gray...you'll never know dear, how much I love you... so please don't take my Sunshine away." song fits your angel perfectly. Almost like the dude was thinking of this particular pup when writing it... hm.....
I love your pictures of her! I especially like the one I faved- I was actually, the first person to pick this one picture. I think it's very adorable. I love how her nose is kind of pushed into the grass- my dog loves kind of hidding behind grass weeds. When my dog does it, she tries acting all cool. I'll laugh and be like, "Allie, knock it off. You don't seem mysterious."
Anyway! I love her bed, too! I know, you're probly tired of hearing that, since I'm not the first to say it... nor the last... but it's TRUE! And her little piggy! Awww! I'm sure to buy my new pupp (which, Im getting in June!) a little stuffed animal like that. Mainly, after seeing your's, a - you - guessed it - pig!
I'm sure your sons are overjoyed you got her. If not, well, . . . they do. I bet. I would love to play with Sunshine right now... so, I'm betting thats how your family are. =] and they have every right to feel this way about Precious SunShine!!!!
Today's been such a gloomy day (especially my events! ugh!!!) and the weather has been overcast and nasty, and seeing Sunshine really made it seem happier, in a weird way. Not saying Sunny (ahum sorry, Sunshine, your doggay) is weird... she's opposite.
Oh, drat. I've made myself seem like a bad person now! Love her! Love love love love... love love... oh, well you get the point. ♥
You are incredibly lucky! 11 Buscuits, immense luck with this cute girl who seems always happy, which she has the right to be with such excellent owners such as you!, and blessings!!!

Sunshine is very, very cute!!! I had a neighbor who had one---before that I had never heard of them. He was a cutie too, especially as a puppy. He was a bit high strung, but always happy& sweet
BTW, as long as we are talking about "Sunshine" songs, I used to always sing one to my daughter, when she was a baby. "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day, when it's cold outside, I've got the month of May..." "My Girl", by the Temptations, I think...
Anyway, best wishes for a long, happy life with her!
Sunshine...you are to precious for words....especially sleeping with your little pink pig :-) And you look so soft and cuddly....I hope you have a long, healthy fun life....and a million doggie treats to you too!
Sunshine is a beautiful little puff ball!!! I love you sleeping with your little pink pig!!!:) I know she will have lots of energy to play with her two "boys":)...as terrier's usually do have lots of ENERGY to keep you busy! Tons of "sunshine" and treats to your little sunshine, and years of happy, healthy, love together!
Oh Sunshine you are soooo soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) You are truly ADORABLE!!!! :) and I looooove your bed...so pretty!!! You look like a very sweet little girl. I'm happy you found a good home!!! :)
Many kisses, hugs and biscuits to you!!!
Happy New Year and best wishes always!!!
OMG!!! Sunshine is an absolutely gorgeous little girl!! Congratulations and best wishes for years of happiness and love for everyone.
Sunshine is absolutely beautiful and precious. I lost my wheaten last year, she was 14. They are the best dogs in the world and such a joy to have in your life. Enjoy all that Sunshine has to offer and make sure to spoil her well! 100 biscuits for Sunshine!!
What a cutie!!!!!!! I have 2 wheatens of my own and they are the best dogs ever!! Enjoy your little fluff ball, if she is anything like my 2 little girls, she will sure love her belly rubbed. Enjoy many years with her.
My boyfriend and I recently adopted a Wheaten Terrier mix (1/2 wheaten, 1/2 bijon frise) and he is 5 years old, so we never got to see a puppy version. I think Wheaten's are the most adorable teddy bear puppies and I imagine my Ozzie would look just like your sunshine except all white, it's crazy that all that brown/black fur will soon turn to be a golden beige! Sunshine is absolutely adorable she is going to be a beatiful grown up puppy too!
Sunshine is too precious! Tell those boys to be gentle with your new baby. I just want to rub this belly and tickle!
I'm first! She is so sweet with her little pink pig! I've never met a Wheaten terrier, but if she is representative, they're cuties. She'll have a blast with her two boys, our first dog grew up with my two sons and they had quite a bond. Enjoy this sweet baby.
