Wrigley the Chow Mix
Wrigley was found on the side of the road at only eight weeks old. We don't know for sure what he's mixed with, but we think he's chow and golden retriever. He likes to play fetch with his stuffed toys and chase frogs outside. His favorite treats are Cheese and Bacon Beggin' Strips.
Whatever Wrigley's a mixture of, he sure is a QT. In this picture, it looks like he's waiting for the right sock to walk by so he can pounce. Kudo's for rescuing him - how a sweet little guy like this could just be wandering the road is beyond my comprehension, and I'm sure he is overjoyed to be in his furever home! Heaps of puppy cookies and tummy rubs from Cheyenne and me, and happy trails ahead.

Wrigley is very majestic looking...I can not comprehend how anyone can drop off a pet at that young of a age (or any age) & expect them to survive. OMFGosh, Dear little Wrigley, I want to tell you how cute you are when you look like a little fluffy possessed adorable half teddy bear half wolverine running along the beach. I want to tell you how fun it would be to have you pull me and my family on a sled during the snowy winters here up north. I want to tell you how much I want to dress you up as a whopper with cheese with a side of fries and a shake and march you in the Halloween parade. I want to tell you all these things my little butternut squash squishy pretty eyed super pup, but sometimes the daily puppy admin doesn't let people say things.The admin thinks they run the Daily Puppy or something. Maybe I don't understand since I live here way up in the north with my family and we don't have all the education or computers or the intranet or anything that the admin has , but I feel that I know puppies because I've loved puppies for most of my adult life, maybe not your fancy big city puppies that smell so fancy and watch Gossip girl, but I've been deeply in love with real salt of the earth puppies who work hard and play hard and sleep hard. And I like to share with the puppies and you good folks who share a puppy love but sometimes I think this big city fancy daily puppy admin comes on down from heaven and frankly rains on the puppy parade keeping the level of puppy power at the lowest common denominator. Sure sometimes we violently disagree, like say about whether it is kind of a lame joke to dress your puppy up as a hot dog, but one thing I know is that we all love America and we all love puppies. I had a dog that looked just like Wrigley. He was a sheltie/chow mix. One of the sweetest, smartest dogs I've ever had.

Wrigley on the JOB! He already has that intense "What's up" look. Chow is loyal, protective and SMART! We have 3 Chow-mix rescue pooches who Rock (Newfi (Ursa), G. Shep (Buster) and Elk Hound (Cleo) and we love and adore them all to bits and peices. Triple Cheers to Wrigley's forever-home people! And all the biscuits for Wrigley!
